INGLEWOOD, Calif. (KRON) — SUPER BOWL BOUND!

The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Los Angeles Rams Sunday on the road at SoFi Stadium by a final score of x to x to win the NFC and clinch a spot in Super Bowl LVI.

The win punches the 49ers’ second ticket to the Super Bowl in three years — losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV in 2020.

The 49ers also extended their winning streak to seven against their NFC West rivals in Southern California.

49ers quarterback Jimmy Garappolo completed 15-of-24 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns.

Deebo Samuel rushed seven times for 26 yards and caught four passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.

Tight end George Kittle caught two passes for 27 yards and a score.

Since head coach Kyle Shanahan took over in 2017, the 49ers are now 8-3 against the Rams.
