A man has died after a possible shooting in San Rafael Monday night.
Around 6 p.m. police responded to a reported possible shooting at Pickleweed Park, 50 Canal Street.
When they arrived, police say they found a young man in a car suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Officials say the man died on scene.
Witnesses say they saw another man running away from the scene after the shooting.
Police have not released the identity of the victim at this time.
Authorities are investigating the homicide.
