Some of the information from users accounts that have been exposed range from names to passwords, according to officials.
Here is a list what may have been exposed from affected accounts.
- Names
- Email addresses

Further investigation showed that information such as passwords in clear text, payment card data or bank account information were not considered to be stolen information.
Yahoo has notified all users that may have been hacked, and have taken the next steps to secure users account information.
Yahoo has not been successful in identifying the intrusion associated with this theft, but officials believe this theft is different than incident back in Sept. 22, 2016.
