Ukraine loses Chernobyl nuclear site

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A presidential adviser says Ukraine has lost control of the Chernobyl nuclear site after a fierce battle.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had said earlier today that Russian forces were trying to seize the nuclear plant, which in 1986 was the site of history’s worst nuclear disaster.
