SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — Police are investigating the suspicious death of a 23-year-old woman in San Francisco’s Mission District on Sunday morning.
San Francisco resident Melanie Olivieri was found at about 6:50 a.m. Sunday with injuries in the 1300 block of Utah Street, about a block away from San Francisco General Hospital, according to San Francisco police and the medical examiner’s office.
Police said Olivieri died at the scene and that a 27-year-old man is suspected in connection with her death, but that no arrests have been made.
Olivieri’s death is being investigated as suspicious in nature, police said.
