MONTEREY COUNTY (BCN) — A female victim reported to be lying on a highway Sunday night in unincorporated Monterey County near Soledad suffered major injuries,
according to the California Highway Patrol.
The first report of the victim was at 10:42 p.m. on northbound U.S. Highway 101 just south of Camphora Gloria Road.
CHP officials initially reported the person died, but revised the report to say she was alive.
No other information was immediately available.
