SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A woman stabbed a man multiple times this morning on a MUNI bus in the Mission District, leaving him in critical condition, according to police.

The 23-year-old victim began arguing with the woman, who is believed to be between 17 and 22 years old, near the corner of 16th and Mission streets around 5:30 a.m.

In the course of the argument, the woman stabbed the man several times in the chest and abdomen before running away.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries deemed life-threatening.

Police have no yet apprehended the woman.
