Mountain View police say a man drove his car into two people, pinning one of them underneath it overnight at the Sports Page bar.
According to police, a man and woman were arguing with another man around 2 a.m. at the bar in the area of Plymouth and Grafton Avenues.
Police say the man and woman left the bar and were outside in the parking lot when the suspect got into his car and drove at them.
Police say the suspect allegedly hit the man and woman, and the woman was pinned beneath the car as the suspect tried to drive away.
Bystanders reportedly removed the suspect from the car and attacked him, according to police.
Other bystanders were able to free the trapped woman from underneath the car.
All three involved were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The identities of those involved have not been released.
Police say many of the bystanders and witnesses had left the scene before authorities arrived and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with any information.
The case is still being actively investigated.
