BOSTON (KRON) – A woman is in the hospital with life threatening injuries after being hit with a broken bat at a Boston Redsox game.

The woman was watching a game between the Oakland A’s and the Redsox at Fenway park when she was hit, causing her to bleed from the head.

The woman was hit by Oakland’s Brett Lawrie’s bat that broke on a groundout to second base for the second out of the inning.
