LOS ANGELES (KRON) — A woman has given birth in the hallway of a courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.
The woman was in the main civil courthouse when she starting experiencing labor pains while walking down a hallway.
Before paramedics could even get to the courthouse, the woman gave birth.
Deputies and other court staffers brought the woman paper towels and cardboard boxes, attempting to give the woman some privacy during her labor.
Onlookers cheered as the baby boy was born at 11:42 a.m.
The mother and her newborn both appeared healthy when paramedics took them from the courthouse.
The woman told one of the deputies who helped her that she was due on Tuesday.
