WOODRUFF, SC (WSPA) – Sheriff Chuck Wright says the heavy police presence is Woodruff Thursday afternoon had to do with an Anderson Co. couple missing since September.
They found Kala Brown alive.
Sheriff Wright says she was chained up like a dog with a chain around her neck in a 30×15 metal container for two months.
Deputies heard her banging on the container.
She is being treated. She told investigators she was being fed.
They have not found Charlie Carver.

Sheriff Wright says they may be dealing with a possible serial killer and there could be 4 bodies on the property.
Todd Kohlhepp is in custody as of 10:45 Thursday morning and is in the detention center.
The sheriff says he will likely be charged with at least one count of kidnapping.
He was on the property when they served the search warrant.
He is listed as property owner of the land where deputies are searching.
He is also listed as a sex offender on the SC registry for a 10/16/1987 conviction in AZ for Kidnapping.
The property is listed as 95.57 acres S SIDE WOFFORD ROAD N OF SC 101 PB -Qualified Agricultural Farm Vacant
The search happened on Wofford Rd. around 8:30 Thursday morning.
There were officers, K-9’s, digging equipment and a helicopter on the scene.
