UNION CITY (KRON) — The woman in Union City that purchased a winning $1.4 million Powerball ticket in January has claimed her prize, according to lottery officials.
Cheryle Silveria bought her ticket at Perry’s Liquor located at 31885 Alvarado Blvd.
Silveria matched all five number, 02-11-47-62-63, but missed the Powerball number of 17. IF she would have picked 17 instead of 22, then she would have won $528 million.
Silveria is still happy with her $1,414,967. She said she is grateful for the win and would like to remain low-key about her plans for the future.
Perry’s Liquor will receive $7,705 for selling the winning ticket.
