A Georgia woman is accused of posing as a dentist and investigators say she’s been doing it for at least seven years.
Krista Szewczyk faces a 48-count indictment in connection with 2013 incidents of insurance fraud, forgery, and practicing dentistry without a license.
State records show that now-defunct dental operation was registered to her husband.
Now, authorities are looking at different businesses throughout Georgia.
More than a dozen patient complaints have been filed, and one person said they had to have emergency surgery after a procedure.
