SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — a Suisun City woman is behind bars, accused of robbing a bank in San Francisco’s Bayview District Tuesday afternoon.

Police think that 40-year-old Antoinette Clay is responsible for a bank robbery that happened at 3:33 p.m. in the 4000 block of Third Street.

The robber walked in to the bank and handed a teller a not demanding money. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money.

The woman ran out of the bank, but responding officers found the suspect in Mendell Plaza.

Clay was arrested without incident and the stolen money was recovered.

Clay initially gave police a false name. She was booked into jail on suspicion of felony robbery, possession of stolen property and providing false information to police.
