(CNN Newsource/KRON) — Wells Fargo customers have opened a class action lawsuit against the bank over its fake account scandal, but Wells Fargo is not making it easy, according to CNN.

The San Francisco-based bank asked the U.S. District Court in Utah on Wednesday to force dozens of those customers to resolve their claims in closed-door arbitration instead of open court.

Wells Fargo argues that customers sign an agreement requiring them to enter arbitration.

The bank is being sued for opening as many as 2 million fake accounts using customer money without permission in order to boost sales numbers.

Wells Fargo has since apologized for the wrongdoing.
