OAKLAND (KRON) — Oklahoma City Thunder’s mustachioed star center Steven Adams apologized again Tuesday afternoon for calling the Golden State Warriors guards “quick little monkeys.”

Adams made the comments during a live interview following the Thunder’s Game 1 Western Conference Final win (108-102) over the Warriors in Oakland.

“I don’t envy guards, mate. They’re quick little – they’re quick little monkeys, those guys.” Adams said.

After Tuesday practice, the 22-year-old New Zealander told media that it was a mistake.

“I’ve already apologized for it. I can’t apologize enough…I’m just trying to focus on the playoffs now,” he said.
