SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Stephen Curry got to see his own likeness in wax on Thursday when the Madame Tussauds wax museum unveiled his just completed statue.

The Golden State Warriors star said he got a bit of a workout just posing for the creation.

“Posing for three hours in that position, I got a lot of quad work,” Curry said. “I been to the museum before and saw Jamie Foxx, Beyonce, President Obama, you name it. So, standing in this pose for however long it was eventually that there would be a life-like figure that I was able to see was pretty cool. We had team pictures upstairs at practice. I made a joke that I could have a stand in.”

The likeness will go on display at the museum this weekend.

Curry said his schedule was a bit busy to attend the debut.
