WATSONVILLE (KRON) — Police are looking for a 33-year-old woman kidnapped by a man in a truck out of Watsonville on Friday.

Perla “Rocio” Luna Fernandez was pulled into a truck in the area of Main Street and West Lake Avenue around 11:50 a.m., according to police Sgt. Juan Trujillo.

Fernandez’s friend called police minutes later to report a silver Ford truck had parked near them and a man pulled the 33-year-old woman into the truck before he drove away west on Rodriguez Street, Trujillo said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, with a full beard and black curly hair, wearing a black shirt.

The suspect vehicle is described as a silver quad cab 2000 Ford pick-up truck with black rims, Trujillo said.

Detectives are reviewing video footage from surveillance cameras in the area.

Officers are looking for Fernandez and have alerted neighboring agencies, according to Trujillo.
