LOS ALTOS (KRON)— About ten homes will be without water Sunday night and Monday morning as crews try to fix a water main break in Los Altos, according to Los Altos police.
It happened in the area of Rosita Avenue and Springer Road around 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Water has been shut off, but repairs will not start until a PG&E crew can mark the area and begin digging.
No one has been evacuated and no homes have been flooded, according to Los Altos police Agent Mark Thomsen.
Ninety percent of the water is going into Hale Creek, but not near any homes.
Rosita Avenue between Parma Way and Springer Road is still closed.
The cause of the water main break has not yet been determined.
