OAKLAND (KRON) — The Golden State Warriors will try to close out the NBA Finals in Cleveland against the Cavaliers Thursday night, but the team will show it’s strength in numbers at the official Game 6 watch party at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
Team officials made the announcement shortly after Golden State lost Monday night Monday night 97-112. The Warriors lead the best of seven series, 3-2.
Tickets are $20 and will go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. for season ticket holders and priority wait list members, and 1 p.m. for the general public, Warriors officials said.
“A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to the AEG Oakland Community Foundation and the Warriors Community Foundation,” the team said.
Parking will cost $10 per vehicle and gates open at 4:00 p.m.
Oracle Arena doors open at 4:30 p.m. and fans will be able to gear up at the Warriors Team Stores located throughout Oracle Arena.
“The Warriors Community Foundation is also hosting additional Official Warriors Watch Parties throughout the Bay Area for Game 6 of the 2016 NBA Finals with a portion of the sales benefiting the Warriors Community Foundation,” the team announced.
All Warriors Watch parties start at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with fans receiving special promotions at participating venues.
