OAKLAND (KRON) — Golden State Warriors forward James Michael McAdoo hosted a shoe design competition for student members of the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland on Monday afternoon.
The 23-year-old gave the youth a chance to win prizes, including lower level tickets to Warriors playoff games.
McAdoo is one of the younger players on the team and has appeared in 40 games for the defending champs. Golden State has won 72 games this season and have a chance to break the NBA record for victories if they beat the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday at Oracle Arena.
