In the viral video, you can see an officer running into the YouTube property where the shots had been fired.
The officer is getting credit for his bravery of running into the deadly situation and trying to stop it.
He has not been identified by police.
In California, most police departments teach officers to go straight in if there is an active shooter instead of waiting.
