OAKLAND (KRON) — It was anything but quiet on the 4th of July in an Oakland neighborhood.
A KRON viewer sent us photos on Tuesday morning of illegal fireworks. The viewer said the photos were taken at the intersection of East 24th Street and 14th Avenue.
You can see in the photo all the boxes of what are clearly used fireworks. Those are illegal in Oakland.
The viewer said it is like this every 4th of July, and there is nothing the police can do about it.

KRON is waiting to hear from police if there were any arrests for setting off illegal fireworks.
