PACIFICA (KRON) — Waves crashed into a Pacifica restaurant early Saturday morning before the restaurant opened.
The wave went onto the first floor of the Moonraker Restaurant near Rockaway Beach.
In the surveillance video released to KRON4, it shows a wave crashing into the window.
Gary McNamara is co-owner of the restaurant. When he came in Saturday morning and found the broken window, he figured the wind did it. He was shocked when he saw the footage.
The wave destroyed the banquet room and one of their food trucks that was parked near the building.
No one was inside at the time, but the restaurant has to replace the carpets and furniture.
The restaurant on the second floor is untouched and open for business.Follow Allison Weeks on Twitter @msallisonweeks.
