SAN JOSE (KRON) — Residents of the Eastridge Mobile Home Estates in San Jose are still without water after a water main break shut down all the water on Monday.

This is the second night residents are without water.

The break happened when construction crews were working on a road and accidentally hit a water line.

Residents are hauling water from the park’s swimming pool to keep their toilets flushing.

The park is also providing bottled drinking water.

Portapotties were brought in, but as they haul water from the pool, some residents must negotiate plywood walkways over the muddy mess that is restricting access to some homes as patience wears thin.

The water is expected to be back on by Wednesday.

About 200 families are without water at the park.
