SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police are searching for two suspects accused of stealing $500,000 in a jewelry heist in San Francisco on Thursday morning, according to Ofc. Giselle Talkoff.

Police said it happened at around 3:44 a.m. on the 100 block of O’Farrell Street at Union Square. Surveillance photos show the suspects entering the store and loading jewelry cases into a duffel bag.

The suspects then ran off with the merchandise, Talkoff said. The suspect car is a Ford sedan, police said.

The first suspect is described as a man with dreadlocks, wearing a dark color jacket, tan pants, and white shoes. The second suspect is a man, wearing a dark hoodie pulled up over his head, police said.

The owner of the store told KRON the suspects made off with $2 million to $3 million in merchandise in a span of 12 minutes. The jewelry shop is Grace Jewelry located at 121 O’Farrell.

The suspects broke into the store from inside the O’Farrell parking garage, the owner said.

The owner also said crime has been on the rise in this part of town, and he believes that the suspects are clearly professionals.
