OAKLAND (KRON)—Police have arrested two suspects connected to a home robbery and assault on Tuesday morning.

The incident happened at a home on the 4600 block of Sequoyah Road at 2:39 a.m.

Police found that multiple people forced their way into the home and two people in the home were hurt.

One of the victims was a man in his 70’s. He was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries and has since been released.

The other victim was a man in his 80’s who had minor injuries and was able to be treated at the scene.

The two suspects were arrested by officers just after 4 a.m. in a car that was reported stolen Monday afternoon.

Police found a replica gun inside the stolen car. A third suspect is on the loose.

Investigators found property that had been stolen in the home invasion in the car.

One of the victims also had his car taken during the home robbery. The car was described as a gold-colored 2001 Cadillac sedan.

The car was recovered later Tuesday.

The arrested suspects’ names have not been released.
