SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Organizers of the San Francisco Music Festival announced Tuesday the event this year will be the last one on the island.

The festival is scheduled on Oct. 15 and 16 with Ice Cube and Sigur Ros headlining the event, officials said.

A reason for moving the festival off the island wasn’t given and organizers have not announced where next year’s event will be.

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.

Ice Cube is expected to perform on stage with fellow NWA members MC Ren and DJ Yella.

The full lineup and ticket information can be found on the Treasure Island Music Festival’s website at treasureislandfestival.com.
