OAKLAND (KRON) — A Tracy family is complete again now that the dog that went missing three years ago has come home.
Hana is a four-year old Shiba Inu who was picked up as a stray in Oakland earlier this month. At first a scan for a microchip turned up nothing but then workers figured out the chip had migrated to another part of the dog’s body. When it was found, they were able to match Hana with the McNesby family out of Tracy.
KRON 4’s Daniel Villareal was there for the happy reunion on Thursday.
