Video just now surfacing out of Australia shows how serious the drought was back in May, and most of the Outback hasn’t seen rain since then.
This video was shot on May 20th near Burrabogie, in Southeast Australia.
Jason Wright, co-owner of Burrabogie Livestock and Contracting, too the video.
The herd is made up of more than 1,200 cows. The video shows them crowding around a water truck.
Wright says the cows were on a traveling stock route that’s used during times of drought.
However, the cross-continent route is now closed because there isn’t enough water and feed for the animals.
