PALO ALTO (KRON) — Burglars took an unusual route to snatch thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a camera store.
The thieves pummeled through plaster, sheetrock, and plywood at Keeble and Shuchat Photography on Sunday morning.
A passerby reported the incident around 7 a.m.
Police said the suspects used power tools to create a hole in the wall.
They also said there was likely more than one suspect involved, considering the amount of work it took to break through the building.
The owner of the photography store said he is still in shock from how it happened.
The store is actually set to close next month after being open for 51 years.
It is estimated that it lost about $10,000 worth of equipment.
Anyone who may have information is asked to contact police.
