Video: Tahoe thunderstorms bring flash flood warning

South Lake Tahoe (KRON) Thunderstorms have hit Tahoe again Tuesday afternoon. There is a flash flood warning for parts of the Greater Lake Tahoe area until 9pm this evening. The video in the story in from Highway 50 in Meyers.Read the full flash flood warning

Here is what the National Weather Service is saying

* STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST INTO THE EVENING. THESE STORMS

WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAIN AND FLASH

FLOODING.

* MUCH OF THE REGION HAS A HIGHER POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING DUE

TO THE VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER THE LAST TWO DAYS. RAPID RUNOFF

MAY OCCUR WITH ONLY MODERATE RAINFALL TOTALS.
