LOS GATOS (KRON) — Sheriffs in Los Gatos were searching for five suspects they believe are connected to a home invasion robbery.
But at around 2 p.m., deputies say “multiple” suspects were arrested in Modesto in connection with the home invasion robbery.
The suspects were driving the victim’s stolen car. Two guns were recovered.
It is not clear if all five were arrested.
According to deputies, the robbery happened just before 4:00 a.m. at a residence on Redberry Drive & Bainter Avenue.
A man in his 50s was home alone a the time of the robbery, sheriffs said.
The suspects entered the victim’s home and demanded valuables. During the incident, the victim was physically attacked by the suspects and required medical attention for his injuries.
The suspects were described as four Hispanic men and a Hispanic woman possibly in their 20s.
Deputies say they were armed with at least one handgun.
