FREMONT (KRON) — Police are investigating two home-invasion style armed robberies in Fremont’s Mission Hills area, the police department said Wednesday.

The first of the two incidents happened between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Hunter Lane. Several suspects entered the house through the open garage door and pointed guns at the victims.

The victims were held at gunpoint as the suspects stole several items from the home. The victims were not injured and the suspects fled the house.

The second incident happened on August 28 at around 9:40 p.m. on Pilgrim Loop. Five suspects, all armed with guns, entered the victim’s residence through a rear patio door.

The homeowner was not home at the time, but saw the suspects on their remote surveillance system and immediately called police.

The suspects fled the scene just before police arrived.

In both incidents, the suspects fled the homes in a dark-colored four-door sedan.

Anyone who recognizes these suspects or has any information that could assist with this investigation are asked to contact Detective N. Austin of the Crimes Against Persons Unit at NAustin@fremont.gov or 510-790-6932.
