SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Thursday’s storm brought up to nearly six inches of rain to some parts of the Bay Area, according to National Weather Service.
The North Bay was hit the hardest by Thursday’s storm with several reports of flooding in Marin and Sonoma Counties.
The NWS’s unofficial storm totals show that Marin County got drenched with nearly six inches of rain is some areas like Kentfield.
A flash flood warning was issued and Marin County sounded their flood alarms as creeks and streams began to rise.
Sonoma County got up to seven inches in Guerneville and four and a half inches in Santa Rosa.
The East Bay also saw some flooding as the rain soaked freeways in the Oakland Hills. Oakland got nearly two inches of rain, according to the NWS.
