Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is breaking his silence surrounding last night’s viral video where he apparently said some choice words.
In a video that summoned lip readers far and wide, Kerr appears to say something along the lines of “I’m so (expletive) tired of Draymond’s (expletive).”
In a media briefing Monday, Kerr said he uttered the words, “‘I beg to differ with Draymond’s approach.’ Those were my exact words.”
Here’s the raw video you can see for yourself:
Kerr also admitted he was frustrated by the 115-111 loss against the Suns, but said the team remains confident.
“It is a difficult thing that we’re trying to accomplish…we’ve got our work cut out for us, but we’re still confident,” he said.
Meanwhile Klay Thompson decided to call out Warriors fan, criticizing them for a lack of energy.
“I expect our crowd to be a little more into it, too,” Thompson said after the Warriors lost for the fourth time in six games. “I know it’s not the playoffs, but it is our last go-round at Oracle. At least you could stand up if someone makes a good play, especially at the beginning. We need that energy, especially this time of the year,” he said in a post-game briefing.
