PALO ALTO (KRON) — Police are investigating two prowling incidents that involve a man pulling the covers off of female students as they sleep in a Stanford student residence.

A man entered the unlocked rooms of two female students early Friday morning at a student residence located on the 1000 block of Campus Drive East.

The first victim woke up at around 3 a.m. to a man standing next to her bed lifting the covers off of her. The victim screamed and the man ran out of the room, according to police.

After searching for 30 minutes, she spotted the suspect and asked him from a distance who he was. He then ran out of the building.

Another female victim reported similar circumstances that occurred between 6-6:45 a.m.

She was also woken up by a man lifting the covers off of her. This time, the victim chased the suspect out of the building and into the parking lot.

He was last seen running towards Campus Drive.

The victims described the suspect as a Hispanic male adult between the ages of 18-30 years old. He stands approximately 5’9″, has a bulky/stocky build with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a gray shirt.
