MONTEBELLO (KRON/CNN) — Police in Southern California are searching for a man they say robbed a woman at knife point while wearing a clown mask.
It happened inside an underground parking garage in Montebello.
The whole thing was caught on security camera.
“My daughter is, honest to God, she’s pretty tough little girl. She’s about your size. And she’s pretty tough. But man, she came in that day and she was scared to death,” father Curtis Fredrickson said.
The woman was just getting home from school and work.
“My daughter works and she goes to Azusa Pacific University. She works at Target. She works and pays for everything herself. Her car, her laptop and everything. You know, it’s like frustrating,” Fredrickson said.
In the video, you can see a man in a Los Angeles Dodgers hat running up to her as she tried to get inside the building.
He had a pocket knife and got away with her bag that contained her laptop.
Police are still searching for the man.
