SOLANO COUNTY (KRON) — The Solano County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an at-risk missing teen girl, who disappeared under suspicious circumstances, authorities said on Wednesday.

Officials said 15-year-old Pearl Pinson went missing just before 7 a.m. Wednesday morning when authorities got calls about shots fired in the area of the Interstate 780 pedestrian overcrossing in Vallejo. That overcrossing leads from Home Acres to Taylor Avenue.

A witness told deputies he or she saw a white female being pulled by a Hispanic man on the overcrossing. The teen’s face was bleeding and she was yelling for someone to help, according to authorities.

The witness also said the man had a gun in his hand. When the witness ran for help, he or she heard a gunshot, deputies said.

When deputies arrived, they said they found possible blood on the ground but did not find anyone in the area.

Deputies identified Pinson with the help of family members. She was wearing a gray sweater and black leggings, with a black and turquoise backpack.

She has green hair, authorities said.

The Hispanic man has been identified as 19-year-old Fernando Castro, of Vallejo. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, possibly wearing reading glasses.

Deputies said they do not know if Pinson was shot or injured. Authorities also do not know if the two left the area together.
