SANTA CLARA COUNTY (KRON) — As shown on KRON and KRON4.com, there is early snow in the Sierra.

But you do not have to go that far to find white powder in the Bay Area. KRON’s Rob Fladeboe found some snow on Mt. Hamilton near San Jose in Santa Clara County.

Rain turned to snow overnight atop 4,000 feet in elevation. There is not a whole lot of snow, but more than enough for the snow-deprived South Bay.
