SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Crews are working to put together venues for Super Bowl 50.

Near the Ferry Building in San Francisco, a lot is going on to get ready for the Super Bowl. A crew member told KRON they are putting up screens on each window so when they are done, there will be a big, giant screen.

They are putting together projectors that will broadcast images on the big giant window screen. Besides that big project, there are tents going up everywhere for the various parties that will be happening around town.

Restaurants are even getting into the act, advertising that they will be the place to be to have some fun for the upcoming festivities. City workers are doing their part, making sure everything is clean and tidy.

Palm trees were trimmed Thursday morning, and a crew was patching together a sidewalk. Of course, crews were also working on a giant project–the Sports Zone for the Super Bowl City.

Plus, nearby crews were working on putting up stages for the musical acts coming to town, like Chris Issak and Alecia Keys.

For the most part, those out and about Thursday said they are excited about all of the attention San Francisco will receive in the next few weeks. But, they were still a bit concerned about all fo the congestion.
