SAN JOSE (KRON) — San Jose State University Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a witness of a sexual assault incident.
Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the person shown in photo and video provided.
The person in the photo and video is considered to be a witness and might have information that could significantly assist the investigation.
The potential witness is described as a white male, standing over 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was wearing a grey v-neck t-shirt.
On March 15, 2016 around 9:30 a.m., the victim, an 18-year-old female, reported she was sexually assaulted inside the Washburn Residence Hall located on the campus of San Jose State University at 385 S. 8th Street in San Jose. The unknown suspect entered the resident’s room and assaulted her.
