(KRON)—The second presidential debate wrapped up around 7:30 p.m Sunday.

KRON 4’S Ella Sogomonian reports with some of the highlights.

“It’s just awfully good someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country,” Hillary Clinton said.

“Cuz you’d be in jail,” Trump replied

The presidential nominees were on the attack at the second presidential debate in St. Louis Sunday night.

From foreign policy to taxes and Clinton’s private email server, presidential nominees addressed hot button issues in this 90-minute town hall debate with Clinton repeatedly trying to

reign in the conversation back to policy questions.

“I’d like to the questions that the people have brought here tonight to talk to us about,” Clinton said.

“And get off this question,” Trump said.

“Okay Donald, I know you’re into big diversion tonight,” Clinton replied

A strategy believed to be used by republican nominee Donald Trump to take the spotlight off a recent video recording released of Trump making derogatory statements about women Friday to which Trump referred to as locker room talk in the debate.

“And certainly I’m not proud of it, but that was something that happened,” Trump said. “If you look at Bill Clinton far worse mine were words his was action.”

Trump went on the offense vowing to hire a prosecutor if elected to look further into Clinton’s deleted emails from her private account.
