SAN JOSE (KRON)—The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect who broke into a home.

The suspect was caught on camera committing the act.

It happened around 4 a.m. on June 7 at a home on the 1300 block of Danby Avenue.

The suspect went into the backyard of the victim’s home and stole $10,000 worth of contractor tools and a mountain bike.

Police describe the suspect as 35 years old and 5 feet 8 inches tall. He weighs about 180 pounds.

The suspect was last seen wearing a zip-up hoodie sweatshirt and baseball cap.
