San Jose (KRON) In San Jose Saturday a homeless encampment on state property was cleaned out.
60-80 people at the encampment on Felipe Avenue were kicked out from under the 280-101 freeway interchange. The city of San Jose did a sweep earlier in the week kicking out the people who could be seen from the sidewalk.
The State of California conducted the raid this morning forcing everyone inside the area to leave.
Trees were trimmed back and the trash was picked up in the mile long camp and the gate to the area locked.
