SAN JOSE (KRON) — A man riding a bicycle was killed Tuesday afternoon when a car struck him.
The collision was reported just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Leigh Avenue and Coit Drive near Fammatre Elementary School and Ida Price Charter Middle School, according to authorities.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The driver of the car stopped after hitting the man and is cooperating with police, according to authorities.
