SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A 44-year-old UK male tourist is suffering with life-threatening injuries from being stabbed in the head near San Francisco’s Japantown neighborhood.
Around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, the male tourist, visiting San Francisco from abroad, was with a family member near Post and Franklin Streets, when an unknown male and female attacked the two.
One of the two suspects stabbed the man in the head before taking his bag, which contained cash, credit cards, a cellphone and the victim’s passport, according to police.
The victim was taken to a hospital with a stab wound to the head.
The suspects fled on foot and officers were unable to locate them.
The male suspect is described as being between 30 and 40-years-old, and the female suspect is described as being in her late 20s.
