San Francisco (KRON) A cruise ship docked in San Francisco had to delay its departure to Vancouver tonight because of an outbreak of the norovirus.
Passengers arriving to board the ship were told that the Star Princess would have to set sail two- hours later, so the ship could be sanitized.
A spokesperson for the cruise line says, the gastro-intestinal illness affected a little more than 5- percent of their guests on the previous cruise from Hawaii.
Those passengers were said to have recovered by the time the ship docked at pier -27 this morning.
Some of the people we talked to who were scheduled to leave tonight are feeling a little uneasy about the upcoming voyage.
