(KRON) A Sacramento woman was recently attacked at her front door in a growing home invasion robbery problem against the Asian community.

The woman had just returned from Costco when two men came up from behind her, one grabbing her purse the other covering her mouth.

Sacramento Sheriff’s Deputies say they have seen an increase in the number of criminals targeting Asians in South Sacramento and specifically targeting Asian women.

Sergeant Tony Turnbull says most of the attacks are happening between eight at night and two in the morning.
