In a political climate where athletes are often told to “stick to sports,” the head coach of the Golden State Warriors, Steve Kerr has been an outspoken proponent of gun control.
And he’s also encouraging his players to speak their minds.
On Monday, Steve Kerr visited Newark Memorial High School to encourage kids to do the same.
There, Kerr was joined by some local politicians for Monday’s town hall discussion.
